Our client is the St Catharine’s General Hospital and Walker Family Cancer Centre. They needed to relocate from their old to new complex – a state-of-the-art facility, with capacity for up to 399 beds. They provide the community with enhanced programs and services, replacing the aging St. Catharine’s General and Ontario Street sites of the Niagara Health System.

The Canute Medical Approach

We were contracted by the Plenary Group to manage and relocate Category 1 medical equipment devices. The imaging equipment included a Philips MD Eleva R/F room and a GE Senographe Mammography unit as well as older x-ray rooms and two Philips bucky rooms. We successfully relocated ahead of the time-frame through expert planning. Additionally, we remarketed several items and ethically disposed of others.
